Location...

I thought I'd tell you a little about the location where we filmed our video, since its not been posted up yet! We had origionally planned to film at a 'youth club' type venue called 'Juice Bar' in Clitheroe. Due to very bad weather in and around christmas, 'Juice Bar' was unable to open for safety reasons, so we had to re-think our plans slightly. We liked the idea of filming outdoors, and we figured Clitheroe Castle, and its surrounding grounds would be ideal, as its big, and free to film. We used parts of the gardens to film the first verse vocals. We found a nice little cave where we film the distorted walking in and out section. For the majority of the second half of the song, we used the local skate park as a backdrop. The indie/pop song seemed to fit nicely to the skater style location, so we were pleased we decided to film there. We choose a time if day that meant that we were completly on our own, so we had full run of the place, and were able to film in all parts of the park. We found a little side street that lead to an appartment complex with an open square in the middle. This is the location seen in the second verse, the 1st full band performance section. We even have clips from our car journey to the location in the final product. Some of our best ideas and shots came from just playing around with different angles and lighting. Having a laugh and having the willingness to experiment with different ideas was crucial too, and the fun really shows through in our final product. So there we are, a little about the location to our video for 'love me already' by the BLACK KIDS
